Cultural and Heritage Tourism

Africa is well known as an eco- and wildlife tourism destination. African Heritage Consulting advises on cultural and heritage tourism in Africa, which is an underdevelopped resource. We are happy to assist an individual tourism operator or advise on national policy.

In the past African Heritage Consulting advised on an Omani strategic tourism plan. In Malawi, Menno Welling restored part of a historical building and set up a café, an art gallery and guided heritage tours. African Heritage Consulting is a partner in the Footsteps Africa Network which promotes heritage trails in the footsteps of early explorers as a tool in local development.
